South American 10-Meter Contest

It is not often for the CX7RT callsign to be displayed in a First-Place certificate. One reason is that CX7RT operates /QRP/P from a 4th floor balcony and only with an endfed 5-meter wire. The other is that propagation has not been at its best (the Sun is coming down in its cycle and the Solar Flux Index has been a two-figure number and large coronal holes have been causing strong solar winds with a hesitant K planetary index). Hence, only luck can explain how CX7RT could log 7 QRP QSOs in the recent South America 10-meter contest (http://www.sa10m.com.ar); and only further luck may explain how these few QSOs could result in First Place as South American station in the “Single-Op QRP/Mixed” category… Thanks!:
